Delete your account

You can delete your Jigi account at any time, in the app or by email. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete it in the app

The fastest way. It takes effect immediately.

Open Jigi and go to Settings, then Account.
Tap the three-dot menu at the top right and choose Delete account.
Type your full phone number, including the country code, to confirm it’s you.
Tap Delete my account.

Delete it by email

If you no longer have the app, or can’t sign in, ask us by email. Tap the button below: it opens your email app with everything filled in. Add the phone number your Jigi account uses, with the country code, and send.

Request account deletion by email

Or write to hello@jigi.chat yourself, with the subject “Delete my Jigi account” and your phone number.

Before deleting anything, we confirm that the request comes from the owner of that phone number, so nobody can delete someone else’s account. We acknowledge your request within 24 hours and complete it within 15 days.

What is deleted

Deleted immediately and permanently:

your memories, and everything your agent learned;
your tasks and their history, and your conversations with your agent;
your photos and profile photo, including the stored files;
the names you saved for your contacts, and the names you use for people;
your call history, call quality statistics and device keys;
your feedback, push tokens, usage counters and agent settings.

Your phone number is removed from the account and released, so it can be used to sign up again.

What is kept, and for how long

Messages you sent to other people, and the records of calls you were in, stay in their chats — that conversation is theirs too. Your name, number and photo are removed from them.
Blocks involving your account, as internal identifiers only, because they partly protect the other person.
A deletion receipt proving the deletion happened. It holds no readable identifier; a one-way fingerprint of your number is kept for about 180 days, then removed.
Logs expire on their own schedules: our call server’s logs after 14 days, failed background jobs after 30 days, and operational logs and telemetry after 90 days. Database backups expire within 30 days.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You don’t have to delete your account to remove data. In the app you can delete memories one at a time or all at once, delete your contact labels and the names your agent learned, remove your profile photo, delete messages you sent, and hide calls from your history. For anything else, email hello@jigi.chat.
